Farmhouse Tea: Just Look at These Amazing Blends!

I replaced coffee with tea

Anyone that knows me knows how much of a tea lover I am. About two years ago, I decided to remove caffeine from my diet since I started to realize that it was contributing to my anxiety through my own experiences and much research. If you want to read more about this, you can find it here. Loving my morning brew and missing it oh so much, I started to replace it with tea. I love trying new teas and have gained quite a collection. So, when Farmhouse Teas popped up in my feed, I decided to give it a go.

I was like a kid in the candy store, with so many beautiful and delicious teas to choose from. I stopped at four, but I can’t wait to try more. I try as much as I can to buy from small businesses, so I did a bit of research about this company before purchasing. Farmhouse Teas is family-owned, and they grow almost everything that is used to make their lovely tea blends. If you want to find out a bit more, head over to their site here: Farmhouse Teas They even go into the name behind their farm. One of the best parts, it’s all organic 😊

But back to the tea!

Farmer’s Wife Raspberry Herbal Tea:

So yummy! You get the flavor of Raspberry, but it is not too overpowering. Mixed with a slightly floral and fruity taste. Besides Raspberry, the other tea ingredients are Green Rooibos, Nettle, Red Clover, Elderberry, Hibiscus, and Rose Hips. It’s the perfect tea if you are one who doesn’t like anything too overpowering or sharp in flavor. But if you want a more robust flavor, you can steep more than the recommended 1 tsp per 6-8 oz. Since it is a Green tea, it is decaffeinated, so it is perfect for a morning refresher or a dreamy nightcap.

Farmer’s Market Strawberry Green Tea:

If you LOVE strawberries, then this one is for you! The boldest note you will taste with this tea blend is the strawberry. The berries used in this tea come from Oregon’s farmer’s market, so there is a sweeter taste. It also lends to a more citrus flavor. When steeped, it will turn a beautiful red color. Other ingredients in this blend are Sencha Green Tea, Strawberry Leaf, Rose Hips, Hibiscus, Licorice Root, Lemon Peel, and Rose Petals. I knew when purchasing that this one did contain some caffeine, but it looked too beautiful, I couldn’t pass it up!

Since I have to be careful with my caffeine intake, I usually drink about half and then fill back up with warm water so I’m not getting all that caffeine in a small amount of time. Following this, I have not had adverse effects from the caffeine. You can also choose to steep less than the recommended amount if you’re worried about the amount of caffeine. They also have said that you could drink this as an iced tea, and with how flavorful it is, I think it would be delicious.

Lamplighter Lemonette Herbal Tea:

Ahh! I absolutely love lemon, so this one is right up my alley. This one they recommend as a nighttime tea since the ingredients in this blend promote a sense of calm and relaxation. There is a slight hint of floral notes, but the lemon flavor sticks out the most for me. Other ingredients in this blend are Lemon Verbena, Lemongrass, Lemon Balm, Lemon Peel, Oregon Grown Apples, Rose Hips, Calendula, Oregon Bachelor Buttons, and Lemon Extract. I love to mix this tea with my Dreamweaver elixir from Fox + Fern Botanicals. It makes for one restful and rejuvenating night’s sleep. Since it is recommended to use right before bed, it is also decaffeinated.

Southern Raspberry Rose Herbal Tea:

This is another nighttime tea, and the rose flavor is very present in this blend. Yum, it tastes so good! If floral notes/flavor is not really your thing, then I would steer clear of this one. The floral flavors are more pronounced than any fruity notes. That being said, mix in a few slices of lemon, and you will have more of a citrus, fruity taste. Other ingredients in this blend are Raspberry Leaf and Chamomile. I also mix my Dreamweaver elixir in this beauty when I need just a bit more help shutting my mind off for the day.

Farmhouse Teams has so many beautiful teas that it really was hard to pick just four! I can’t wait to try more of their blends once I have sipped through these. I can tell it won’t be long 😊 For all my tea lovers out there, I’d love to know which brands you absolutely love, and for those new to the tea life, I hope this helps you explore the never-ending world of teas! Happy sipping 🍵

Here are the teas I bought the second go around.

Wishing you love, light and inner peace babes ✌🌈✨💜

I love trying different kinds of herbals teas, especially in the winter (which is coming up way too soon!). All the better to buy from a small business.
